Magmatic rocks drilling project

Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) has confirmed downhole widths of shallow gold mineralisation from drilling at the Weebo Gold Project in Western Australia.

Managing Director David Richardson says the Ockerburry 3 and Scone Stone prospects have confirmed a zone of supergene mineralisation, as well as an adjacent primarily mineralised structure.

“We continue to think this augurs well for the remainder of this 5km long target and look forward to upcoming results from aircore drilling along this area,” Richardson says.

Assays received with Ockerburry 3 include 3m @ 1.32 grams per tonne gold from 38m; 8m @ 1.42g/t from 55m; 4m @ 2.31g/t from 63m; and 1m @ 19.40g/t from 93m, and 1m @ 1.75g/t from 99m.

The Scone Stone prospect drilling results include 5m @ 2.21g/t from 35m; 6m @ 2.40g/t from 80m; 10m @ 1.13g/t from 112m; and 5m @ 2.18g/t from 144m.

The results confirm gold mineralisation is associated with the Ockerburry fault, extending up to 250m along strike, with work that will focus on assessing the continuity and grade of defined zones.

The company is planning follow up exploration programs pending the review of targets and receipt of results, which aim to better define Ockerburry 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Magmatic Resources is an Australian gold and copper exploration company, holding a recently expanded portfolio of the Weebo Gold Project in Western Australia.
