Litchfield Minerals begins trading on ASX

Litchfield Minerals (ASX:LMS), an ‘innovative’ junior explorer focused on critical minerals in the Northern Territory, has begun trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today (15 March 2024).

The company raised $5 million in an initial public offering (IPO) in which Alpine Capital acted as sole lead manager.

Chairman Peter Eaglen says with uranium spot prices currently at 16-year highs coupled with the continued growth in demand for carbon free energy, the listing is timely.

“With our Mount Doreen Copper Project being drill-ready, we plan to immediately start exploration with drilling expected to commence shortly.”

The company holds a portfolio of exploration projects including copper and uranium assets, including a 8km long uranium, radiometric anomaly in the Mount Doreen tenement which sits 350km from Alice Springs.
