Leviathan Gold (TSX-V:LVX) has changed its name to Leviathan Metals Corp, rebranding to better reflect the company’s strategic focus in exploration activities.
The company will continue trading under the ticker code ‘LVX’, undergoing the name change at market open on 14 November.
With a number of assets located in Bosnia and Botswana, Leviathan is focused on uncovering copper, uranium, and polymetallic discoveries.
Earlier this month, Leviathan received approval to acquire Cura Exploration Botswana, offering the company landholdings in the Kalahari Copper Belt and a prospective uranium portfolio for a total of 10,000km2.
As reported by Mining.com.au, the transaction is expected to be complete on or around 18 November.
Leviathan Gold is a Canadian-based mineral exploration company listed on the TSX-V and in Germany.
