Leviathan Gold (TSX-V:LVX) has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for the acquisition of Cura Exploration Botswana.
The transaction is scheduled to close on or about 18 November 2025, subject to satisfying various conditions.
Upon completion, the company intends to change its name to Leviathan Metals Corp to better reflect the activities of the company.
In October 2025, Leviathan Gold secured approval from shareholders to acquire Cura Exploration. The acquisition positions the company in the Kalahari Copper Belt, with a target portfolio it considered second to none in terms of prospectivity.
Cura Exploration also brings a prospective uranium portfolio immediately adjacent to Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) Letlhakane Uranium Project.
In total, the acquisition secures nearly 10,000km2 of prospective copper and uranium ground.
Leviathan Gold is a Canadian-based mineral exploration company listed on the TSX-V and in Germany.
