Infini Resources (ASX:I88) has received rock chip assay results from its phase two field program at the Reynolds Lake and Reitenback Lake Uranium Projects in Saskatchewan, Canada, confirming widespread uranium.
In total, 181 rock chip samples from Reynolds Lake and Reitenback Lake have been assayed in phase one and two field programs, which were designed to systematically test priority areas.
Phase one sampling at Reitenback Lake confirmed high-grade uranium, with a uraninite-bearing sample returning 18,986 parts per million (ppm) uranium oxide (1.90%).
Phase two assays returned additional elevated uranium values up to 3,844ppm, with the uranium anomalism extending beyond the initial discovery and remaining open.
Phase one and two assays from Reynolds Lake also confirm elevated uranium values identified during mapping.
The data from both projects indicates a potential coherent, system-scale uranium footprint extending over approximately 15km x 3km.
CEO Rohan Bone says that receiving the phase two results is an “important step” for the company as they demonstrate that the uranium anomalism is broader and more extensive than initially thought.
“Seeing multiple elevated uranium results outside the original discovery area reinforces our confidence in the potential scale of the system. With the full phase one and phase two dataset now in hand, we are well positioned to finalise drill targets and advance confidently toward our planned 2026 maiden drilling program,” Bone says.
Results from both phases of the company’s field programs help to advance Infini’s understanding of the projects and provide a strong foundation for additional exploration and drill targeting.
Assay results will be integrated with geological mapping, geophysical data, and structural interpretation to finalise the new drill targets across both projects.
The maiden drill campaign across these priority targets is targeted for Q2 2026.
