Hi-View Resources (CSE:GXLD) has appointed Shannon Broughm as the company’s new technical advisor to advance the company’s asset portfolio in Canada.
Broughm has nine years of experience as a consulting geologist, managing and executing mineral exploration projects for junior mining companies targeting base and precious metals across a range of deposit types, particularly focusing on porphyry-epithermal systems.
CEO Nick Horsley says since 2018, Broughm has demonstrated geological and geochemical expertise, combined with leadership in fieldwork and exploration throughout the Toodoggone region.
“Her practical approach and diverse background will be valuable as we continue advancing our projects,” Horsley says.
The company’s wholly owned and optioned projects cover more than 27,791 hectares and include the flagship Golden Stranger Project, the Lawyers claims, and the Borealis Project – all designated as high-priority targets.
Additional assets in the portfolio include the Nub and Saunders projects, while the Northern Claims and Harmon Peak remain under active option agreements. The company also has an additional 1,300 hectares currently under mineral claim application.
Earlier this week, Hi-View completed the acquisition of the Saunders and Nub projects. Both projects lie 300km northeast of Smithers and 30km north of the Kemess copper-gold porphyry complex, operated by Centerra Gold (TSX:CG).
The company is digitising legacy data from Saunders to evaluate whether historical drilling adequately targeted a chargeability anomaly.
