Hi-View Resources (CSE:GXLD) has appointed Richard Klue as an independent director of the company, who will contribute his technical and operational expertise to support disciplined project advancement.
Klue brings more than 40 years of experience in the global mining, minerals and metals industry. He has held numerous senior leadership roles overseeing engineering studies, project development, operations and technical services across multiple jurisdictions.
Most recently, Klue served as vice president of technical services at Mayfair Gold (TSX-V:MFG) where he led the completion of a Prefeasibility Study.
CEO Nick Horsley says the addition of Klue brings “substantial” operational expertise to the team.
“With his proven track record at leading companies such as Hudbay Minerals (NYSE:HBM), Tetra Tech (NASDAQ:TTEK), and Hatch – including extensive experience in mine development, operations, engineering, and metallurgy – Richard is a tremendous asset,” Horsley says.
“His technical acumen and strategic insights will significantly strengthen our board as we continue to build shareholder value and advance our resource projects.”
As previously reported, Hi-View recently increased a non-brokered private placement from C$1.5 million to C$2.025 million ($2.10 million), to fund general corporate purposes. As part of the upsizing, 6.75 million units will now be issued under the same issue price.
Hi-View Resources is a mineral explorer focused on advancing a portfolio of gold, silver and copper projects in the Toodoggone region of northern British Columbia.
