GTI marks new path with American Uranium

GTI Energy (ASX:GTR) will change its name to American Uranium and begin trading under the ticker AMU on 29 August, after shareholders approved the move on 13 August 2025.

On 15 July 2025, GTI sought to rebrand, which executive Director Bruce Lane outlined as the company’s commitment to expanding its US uranium footprint.

As previously reported, Lane told Mining.com.au that the name closely aligns with the company’s historical and future focus on developing its uranium portfolio in the US as nuclear renaissance gathers pace and the US domestic uranium mining sector continues its revival.

The Lo Herma Project is located in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming, containing a resource of 8.57 million pounds of uranium concentrate, including 2.78 million pounds indicated and 5.79 million pounds inferred.

GTI Energy is focused on generating clean fuel to counteract climate change by reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.
