Graphite One (TSX-V:GPH) has completed its coordinated project plan process following its listing of its Graphite Creek Project in Alaska on the FAST-41 Dashboard.
The project plan comprises a list of roles for environmental review and authorisation responsibilities, a timetable for completion dates, discussions for mitigation strategies, as well as a public schedule.
The FAST-41 Dashboard is established by the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council to assist participants with the federal environmental review and authorisation process, improving timeliness, predictability, and transparency.
CEO Anthony Huston says Graphite One’s ability to coordinate with federal agencies involved in permitting to create a transparent plan is a testament to the dashboard’s process.
“With President Trump’s Critical Mineral and Alaska Executive Orders, Graphite One is positioned at the leading edge of a domestic critical mineral renaissance that will power transformational applications from energy and transportation to artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and national defence,” Huston says.
Graphite Creek is the first Alaska-based project to make the dashboard, along with the 25 other mining projects across the country.
Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy says Graphite One’s involvement on the dashboard is “blazing the trail” for projects to contribute to the US economy as well as national security.
“In the 21st century, the wealth of nations – their ability to provide opportunities for their people, their ability to remain safe in a dangerous world – depends on access to the resources that power our technologies,” Dunleavy says.
“This (Graphite Creek) is North America’s largest deposit of natural graphite, foundational to any effort to rebuild our domestic supply chains, and we now have a concrete timeline of 13.5 months for federal agencies to bring it through the permitting process.”
Graphite One is focused on developing its Graphite Creek Project to production to boost the US graphite supply chain.
The company is conducting a private placement to raise up to C$18 million ($20.14 million) to conduct environmental studies and other permitting activities on the Graphite Creek Project, as reported by Mining.com.au. The offering is expected to close on or around 8 August 2025.
