GoldInxs Mining (TSX-V:INXS) is advancing exploration at its Fishpot Property in British Columbia, Canada, with plans to evaluate remote-sensing technology alongside geophysical work ahead of a 2,000m drilling campaign.
The gold junior has begun its previously planned induced polarisation (IP) survey at Fishpot and is evaluating a technology developed by Ripplinger Royalties to support target generation.
Known as Virtual DRILL™, the technology uses what Ripplinger describes as elemental harmonic resonance (EHR) and satellite data to generate interpreted information on potential occurrences of targeted elements, including gold, silver, and copper.
GoldInxs plans to integrate conventional geophysics with the “emerging remote-sensing technology” to help identify and refine targets ahead of its planned drill program.
According to Ripplinger, its EHR technology applies proprietary algorithms to satellite data to generate graphical representations of the potential spatial location and depth of targeted elements.
Ripplinger says the satellite-based approach can also assist in evaluating remote areas without extensive physical access or ground disturbance.
GoldInxs sees Fishpot as a potential setting to evaluate the technology alongside conventional exploration methods. Its phase one program is designed to systematically advance the underexplored mineralised system using multiple layers of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
The company intends to use the combined results to identify, refine, and prioritise targets for a planned drill program of up to 2,000m.
“We are excited to evaluate Virtual DRILL™ as an additional tool within our exploration strategy at Fishpot. We believe this could provide GoldInxs a competitive edge when it comes to evaluating exploration properties,” CEO Nick Michael says.
GoldInxs Mining is an early-stage mineral exploration company based in British Columbia, dedicated to identifying, acquiring, and advancing gold and copper assets.
