Venari Minerals (ASX:VMS) has identified a potential “large-scale” epithermal discovery at the Needles Gold Project in Nevada from a soil sampling program.
The company conducted 820 points in soil sampling, identifying six multi-element anomalies prospective for gold and arsenic.
Venari says each of the six identified soil anomalies offers “excellent discovery potential”. It is currently interpreting results from a recent airborne magnetic-radiometric geophysical survey and is also awaiting assay results from the recently completed eight-hole reverse circulation drilling campaign.
Assay results from both the Needles and subsequent Red Mountain drilling campaigns have been delayed as a result of a surge in exploration activity in the US and the associated backlog of samples awaiting processing at US-based labs.
The largest anomaly identified returned up to 109 parts per billion gold and up to 1.46 grams per tonne of silver, across a 400m by 400m zone, also hosting arsenic, antimony, and mercury.
Venari is currently awaiting results from the program, which will be compiled with geophysical surveys and recent reverse circulation drilling results, ahead of further exploration.
Historical geophysical survey data for the Needles Project collected under the previous management team may be reprocessed and reevaluated.
Chairman Tony Leibowitz says soil sampling data has validated the company’s view of the project, to host growing discovery potential and elevating the prospectivity of the greater project.

“The large multi-element anomalies have all the geochemical characteristics that geologists look for when exploring for large-scale epithermal gold-silver systems and, importantly, none of them have ever been drilled – supporting our view that the most prospective exploration spaces across the project are yet to be tested,” Leibowitz says.
Formerly known as Astute Metals, Venari Minerals is a mineral explorer focused on developing critical and precious metals projects in Nevada.
The company will be attending this week’s Noosa Mining Investor Conference, held between 12-14 November 2025, at the Peppers Noosa Resort.
Venari is presenting at 12pm AEST on the final day of the conference. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s event.
