Global Lithium mans up with Manna MoU

Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to export product from its flagship Manna Lithium Project near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia with Southern Ports Authority.

The parties will assess the commercial and technical viability of exporting up to 240,000 tonnes of spodumene per year through the Port of Esperance.

This agreement will include the supply of existing port infrastructure and services, trucks and additional port infrastructure to in-load product, temporary stockpiling at the port, and out-loading onto vessels.

Global Lithium Managing Director Dianmin Chen says being able to secure these logistics was a paramount step in advancing the Manna Project.

“This non-binding MoU with Southern Ports marks an important step in formalising our intentions to work together to explore the best possible export solutions through the Port of Esperance,” Chen says.

“We look forward to working closely with Southern Ports as we advance towards a final investment decision for the Manna Project next year.”

Global Lithium Resources is a diversified exploration and development company with multiple assets in lithium branded jurisdictions, focusing on its wholly owned Manna Lithium Project.
