Gateway grows Cowza gold strike to 4.5km

Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) has extended the Cowza gold discovery by a further 1–4.5km of continuous mineralisation at its Yandal Gold Project in Western Australia.

New aircore results include 8m @ 2.1 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 84m in hole CSAC0066, 8m @ 1.6g/t Au from 80m in CSAC0073, and 8m @ 1.1g/t Au from 36m in CSAC0054.

The mineralised system remains open along strike and at depth within the Celia Shear corridor.

Meanwhile, drilling at Celia South has defined gold mineralisation over more than 1.5km of strike, including 4m @ 9.7g/t Au from 60m in CSAC0101.

CEO Richard Pugh says Cowza has grown substantially since its discovery in June 2026.

“These latest results continue to reinforce our belief that Cowza is emerging as a major new gold system within the Yandal Project,” Pugh says.

“With drilling now defining continuous gold mineralisation over approximately 4.5km of strike, Cowza has grown substantially from the initial discovery announced only in June 2026 and remains open in multiple directions.”

Gateway says the ‘strongest’ results remain associated with a mafic-intermediate contact and structurally complex corridor that has delivered ‘higher-grade’ intersections across the trend.

Reverse circulation drilling is continuing at Cowza to test the continuity, geometry, and depth of mineralisation in fresh rock. Initial assays are expected in September.

All reported intercepts are downhole lengths.

Gateway held $15.1 million in cash and liquid securities at the end of the June 2026 quarter.

The Cowza and Celia South tenements are held through a joint venture between Gateway, which owns 75%, and privately owned Zebina Minerals, which holds 25%.

Gateway is an Australian gold explorer focused on its Yandal Gold Project in WA.
