Fox Tungsten (TSX-V:FOXT) has commenced a fully funded 20,000m diamond drilling program at its Fox Tungsten Project in south‑central British Columbia, Canada.
The company has mobilised the first of two diamond drill rigs to the site, located approximately 75km northeast of 100 Mile House, with drilling now underway and a second rig expected in early July.
The 2026 program will focus on three key objectives across the Fox and nearby Silverboss properties.
Approximately 60% of drilling will target Fox resource growth to support an updated mineral resource estimate and Preliminary Economic Assessment in H1 2027. The program will test continuity of mineralisation between the BN, RC, and BK zones along strike, as well as downdip extensions.
Around 30% of drilling will target exploration opportunities across the broader Fox property to identify new tungsten‑bearing zones.
The company will target deeper downdip extensions of existing resource zones and potential new areas at Fox North and the August showing.
The remaining 10% of drilling will focus on the nearby Silverboss property to evaluate copper and molybdenum targets, including the 10 Mile Creek target and the Gus Zone copper soil anomaly.
“With two drill rigs operating throughout the summer, a new camp in place, and a clear focus on resource growth and new discoveries, this program represents a major step toward unlocking the full potential of the Fox district,” CEO Steve Gray says.
Drilling is expected to continue until October 2026, with assay results to be released periodically.
The company will also undertake prospecting, geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and metallurgical testing during the 2026 season to support future project development.
