EV Resources (ASX:EVR) has reported maiden soil geochemistry results at its Milton and Dollar projects in Nevada, US, defining structurally controlled mineral corridors spanning 1.1km.
The company completed 567 soil samples across both projects, with results identifying two distinct mineralised systems at Dollar and a continuous anomalous corridor at Milton directly overlying historic mine workings.
At Milton, the survey delineated a 1.1km gold–antimony pathfinder corridor along mapped jasperoid trends within Triassic Luning Formation carbonates. The company notes 22 samples sit within the highest 90th percentile for all five hydrothermal pathfinder elements.
Sample M-190 returned 2.45 parts per million thallium (Tl) alongside 0.118ppm gold (Au), while sample M-162 recorded 5.44ppm mercury (Hg) and 121.5ppm antimony (Sb).
Managing Director Mike Brown says the results provide a clear framework for the next exploration phase.
“The high-density grid sampling has delineated tightly constrained, structurally controlled corridors that line up directly with our reconnaissance geological mapping and historic working boundaries,” Brown says.
“At Milton, we have confirmed a clean gold-antimony pathfinder suite that validates our structural model and introduces thallium as a highly effective localised vectoring tool.”
Results from the Dollar Project identified two separate mineralised systems associated with historic production areas. The northern Dollar Mine node shows ‘high-grade’ gold-arsenic-antimony signatures, with sample D-094 returning 0.415ppm Au and 2,080ppm Sb.
The southern Resurrection node displays distinct silver-lead-zinc (Ag-Pb-Zn) polymetallic characteristics, with sample D-209 recording 17.05ppm Ag, 932ppm Sb, and 872ppm Pb. Sample D-210 yielded 2,680ppm Zn.
The company says the spatial distribution is consistent with hydrothermal telescoping zonation across a 300m strike length. Statistical analysis shows strong antimony-gold correlation but weak silver-gold correlation, indicating two independent geochemical associations.
Field mapping also identified a previously unrecognised copper-oxide breccia structure in Dollar’s southeastern block, featuring visible secondary copper mineralisation along a north-south trending corridor.
EV Resources plans further rock-chip sampling at Milton and copper breccias at Dollar and will assess geophysical surveys across the Milton trend.
