EV Resources (ASX:EVR) has changed its name to Antimony Resources and will trade under the new ticker ‘ANT’ from Monday 21 September.
Shareholders approved the rebrand at a general meeting on 2 September to align the company’s identity with its strategic focus on antimony. The critical mineral is essential for defence, energy storage, flame retardants, and semiconductor applications.
From 21 September, fully paid ordinary shares will trade as ANT, replacing EVR. Listed options exercisable at $0.075 and expiring 31 August 2030 will trade as ANTO, replacing EVRO. Listed options exercisable at $0.20 and expiring 30 November 2026 will trade as ANTOA, replacing EVROA.
The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) has registered the change.
The company says the rebrand does not affect shareholder rights, company operations, or its Australian company number and Australian business number. Existing holding statements also remain valid.
Executive Chairman Shane Menere says the rebrand marks an important milestone for the company.
“The change of name to Antimony Resources marks an important milestone for the company. Our identity now clearly reflects what we do — advancing antimony, a critical mineral of growing strategic importance, from proof-of-concept processing at Tecomatlán towards commercial production,” Menere says.
“Together with the share consolidation, the new brand positions the company for its next phase of growth and for engagement with a broader base of Australian and international investors.”
The company is advancing proof-of-concept processing at its Tecomatlán plant in Mexico using ore supply from the Chinantla Antimony Project. It is also exploring the Los Lirios Antimony Project in Mexico and holds antimony ground in Nevada, US.
A new corporate website will launch at antimonyresources.com.au to coincide with the name change. The existing evresources.com.au domain and email addresses will redirect to the new site during a transitional period.
Antimony Resources is a critical minerals explorer and developer advancing projects across Mexico and the US.
