Element79 Gold Corp (CSE:ELEM) has secured approval for a reclamation bond of US$19,871 ($30,565) for its Gold Mountain Project in Nevada, representing a step forward in its exploration strategy.
A reclamation bond is a financial guarantee that a project developer will restore land disturbed by energy, mining, or infrastructure projects to a pre-determined condition after the project is completed.
The approval from the Bureau of Land Management represents a key regulatory milestone, paving the way for expanded exploration and operational activity.
CEO Michael Smith says the bond approval is more than a procedural step – it’s a green light for growth.
“With this in place, Element79 can move forward with confidence on our phase one drill program on Gold Mountain, knowing our environmental responsibilities are fully secured and regulatory boxes checked,” Smith says.
“We have been working with tendering earthworks and drilling teams while waiting for this approval, and now we can begin engaging them for site work and drilling this fall.
“This brings us one step closer to unlocking the value at Gold Mountain, in Battle Mountain, of Nevada.”
The Gold Mountain Project, comprising 34 unpatented lode mining claims spanning 284 hectares, lies in Lander County, Nevada. The project presents upside potential with structurally controlled gold-silver-lead mineralisation and evidence of porphyry-style mineralisation within and around the Gold Mountain intrusive.
Element79 Gold is a precious metals mining company focused on gold, silver, and associated metals.
