Electric Light shines for Savannah Goldfields

Savannah Goldfields (ASX:SVG) has announced assay results from the reverse circulation (RC) drill program completed in December 2025 at the Electric Light prospect on the Georgetown Gold Project in far north Queensland.

The drill program comprised eight RC drill holes for a total of 842m, with holes targeting the down dip and down plunge extensions to the Electric Light mineralised zone and to define the strike extent of the gold mineralisation.

Six holes intersected gold mineralisation, with three holes intersecting significant zones of ‘high grade’ gold mineralisation and three intersecting wide zones of lower grade mineralisation.

Key highlights from the drill program include 30m @ 2.7 grams per tonne gold from 95m, including 3m @ 19.04g/t gold from 98m; 7m @ 3.68g/t gold from 37m; and 22m @ 2.59g/t gold from 104m, including 4m @ 6.96g/t gold from 107m, including 3m @ 6.86g/t gold from 120m.

CEO Brad Sampson says that “Electric Light, with exceptional widths of high grade gold mineralisation and its proximity to the Georgetown Gold Processing Plant, is an exciting development target”.

“We look forward to incorporating these results into an update of the Electric Light mineral resource and to undertaking further exploration drilling towards assessing the full potential of this deposit.”

Savannah Goldfields intends to use the new data to update the inferred mineral resource of 388,000 tonnes at @ 3.7g/t gold.

Metallurgical testwork is underway following diamond drilling completed at the start of this drill campaign, with two phases of testwork planned. Once complete, the company will then assess the opportunity for further open pit mining and a scoping study for underground mining.
