Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) is chasing an OTCQB listing to introduce its Colosseum Project to US investors.
The company’s share price is 133.33% higher as of 1pm AEST on the back of the announcement.
The Colosseum Project is a historical gold mine located in the Walker Lane Trend in East San Bernardino County, California. Colosseum hosts a JORC-compliant resource of 27.1 million tonnes at 1.26 grams per tonne for 1.1 million ounces of gold.
Recent intersections include 88m at 4.18g/t gold, as reported by Mining.com.au.
Dateline, which has a market capitalisation of $39 million, believes an OTCQB listing will allow the company to tap into the rising investor interest in the US after President Donald Trump highlighted the Colosseum Project in his Truth Social weekly update.
“The Colosseum Mine, America’s second rare earths mine, has been approved after years of stalled permitting,” Trump says.
The Bureau of Land Management says the Colosseum Project helps bolster the US’ capacity to produce the critical minerals necessary to power the future of technology.
“Interior continues to support industries that boost the nation’s economy and protect national security,” the bureau says.
Dateline is now targeting carbonatite-hosted systems analogous to Mountain Pass, formally incorporating rare earth elements into the company’s fieldwork.
Dateline Resources is a mining and exploration company that focuses on gold and rare earths, owning 100% of the Colosseum Mine.
