Dart Triumphs with new lodes

Dart Mining (ASX:DTM) has identified new lodes to the east of previously uncovered mineralisation at drillhole TRDD013 in an ongoing diamond drilling program at the Triumph Gold Project in southeast Queensland.

Historical assays returned 0.4m @ 34.6 grams per tonne gold and 15g/t silver from 258.6m, and 0.5m @ 15.9g/t gold and 68.3g/t silver from 62.5m.

Mineralisation remains open at depth and to the east, while drillhole TRDD014 estimates up to 70% pyrite and 10% arsenopyrite in veins while still awaiting assays.

Dart Mining intends to deepen the mineral resource by another 140m to 320m while New Constitution lodes now range between 10m and 190m wide, doubling its original size.

Chairman James Chirnside says within the deep drilling phase of the maiden diamond drilling program, the company is pleased with two returns from the project.

“One is the continued discoveries of new lodes to the east of the New Con prospect, and the second is that the intersection of mineralisation at depth was predicted very closely based on projections from higher in the sequence,” Chirnside says.

“The team will continue to look at these results in the context of gold grade and pathfinder elements to understand what, if any, changes in plunge orientation of the high-grade shoots exist at depth.”

Located in the New England Ford Belt of southeast Queensland, the Triumph Project hosts an inferred resource of 150,000 ounces @ 2.17g/t gold at a 1g/t gold cut-off across five different project areas.

Dart Mining is a precious and critical minerals explorer focused on carrying its Eastern Australian projects through exploration and development stages.
