Great Divide Mining (ASX:GDM) and partner Dart Mining (ASX:DTM) have completed a 4,100m drilling program at the Banshee prospect within the Coonambula Gold-Antimony Project in Queensland, confirming mineralisation over 730m of strike.
Final assay results include 12.0m @ 1.03 grams per tonne gold (Au) and 1.01g/t silver (Ag) from 128m, including 3.4m @ 1.78g/t Au and 2.20g/t Ag.
The system remains open along strike and at depth.
Great Divide’s chief executive Justin Haines says the completion of the first drilling program is another important milestone in unlocking the value of the Coonambula Project.
“These final results have confirmed a substantial mineralised system extending over more than 730m of strike, while importantly demonstrating that mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth,” Haines says.
Dart Mining’s chairman James Chirnside adds that they are seeing gold mineralisation present “from end to end”, returning their ‘best’ result from this batch.
With this, the joint venture is now conducting metallurgical testwork and 3D geological modelling to support a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE).
Located in central Queensland, the Coonambula Gold-Antimony Project sits approximately 70km southeast of the Cracow gold mine and contains historic workings across a 5km corridor, including the Banshee and Perseverance targets.
Dart Mining has earned a 45% interest in the project, which can increase up to 51% with the delivery of defined drilling and key milestones over a two-year period.
Great Divide Mining is a gold, antimony, and critical metals miner, explorer, and developer with projects across 17 tenements.
