Dalaroo launches 2026 Greenland exploration

Dalaroo Metals (ASX:DAL) is preparing to launch its 2026 exploration program at the wholly owned Blue Lagoon Critical Minerals Project in Greenland, following its maiden field campaign that elevated Blue Lagoon into a ‘compelling district-scale critical minerals opportunity’.

Dalaroo is planning a systematic exploration program to define the scale and continuity of mineralisation and define drill-ready targets.

The 2025 program confirmed widespread rare earth elements (REEs), zirconium, and niobium mineralisation, with 100% of all samples returning anomalous values with mineralisation mapped across a 2.7km strike and values up to 0.81% total rare earth oxides.

The company believes this positions them as a potential new source of critical minerals in Greenland.

CEO John Morgan says that the project represents “a genuinely exciting critical minerals opportunity” for the company.

“Our 2026 program is designed to rapidly progress Blue Lagoon from first-pass surface results toward defined, drill-ready targets through targeted geophysics, systematic auger drilling, and ongoing geochemical work,” Morgan says.

“Importantly, the dataset also indicates natural upgrading into finer grain-size fractions, providing early encouragement that low-cost physical beneficiation pathways may exist.

“We believe Blue Lagoon has the potential to become a strategically important project within a western-aligned critical minerals supply chain, and we look forward to providing shareholders with a steady stream of exploration milestones throughout the 2026 field season as we continue to unlock the scale and potential of this system.”

The 2026 field program will advance Blue Lagoon through targeted geophysics, systematic geochemical follow up, and drilling with the objective of defining mineralised zones and priority areas for advancement, in order to ultimately de-risk the project.

Dalaroo Metals is focused on exploration for gold and critical minerals globally, with the Blue Lagoon Project in Southern Greenland , gold assets in Côte d’Ivoire, and several projects in Western Australia.
