Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) has appointed current COO Matt Dusci as the new Managing Director and CEO, following Duncan Craib’s decision to step down from the role as of 30 September 2025.
Craib will stay with the company as a non-executive director beginning as of 1 January.
Dusci has accumulated over 25 years of experience across the resources and mining sector, holding roles at IGO (ASX:IGO) including acting CEO, COO, and CGO, as well as management positions at PMI Gold (ASX:PMI) and Gold Fields (NYSE:GFI).
Craib says he is grateful for his place in the team as the company built and operated the Honeymoon Operation to deliver uranium in a time of global demand.
“It has been an honour steering Boss on the path from project development to production, making Honeymoon Australia’s only new operating uranium mine in the past ten years,” Craib says.
“I have no doubt Matt will do an outstanding job as Managing Director. His significant technical capability and vast operating experience will be invaluable as Boss continues to ramp up production.”
The Honeymoon Uranium Operation met its first-year production guidance of 850,000 pounds of triuranium octoxide, with 328,102 pounds produced in the last quarter alone, as reported by Mining.com.au.
The project hosts Australia’s second operating in-situ recovery uranium mine, the historical Honeymoon Mine, just 80km northwest of Broken Hill in South Australia.
