Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has completed a second diamond drill hole at the Redhill Copper-Zinc Project in British Columbia, Canada, with assays to be released once received.
CEO David Greenway says completion of the second drill hole marks a milestone as the company systematically evaluates the Redhill Project’s volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) potential.
“Historical drilling, favourable geology, and multiple coincident geophysical targets continue to reinforce our confidence in the property,” Greenway says.
The second hole was drilled to a depth of 300m and is intended to test coincident electromagnetic, magnetic, and geological targets interpreted to represent prospective VMS mineralisation. The hole also evaluated the continuity of mineralisation intersected in historical drilling and further tested the geological model developed from previous exploration.
Phase one drilling is testing priority VMS targets and follow-up on extensive historical drilling and geophysical work that identified copper-zinc and gold-silver mineralisation, hydrothermal alteration, and prospective sulphides-bearing volcanic units across the project.
The initial program is expected to comprise 3,000m of diamond drilling across 10 holes.
In late May 2026, the company began drilling at Redhill, which Greenway describes as a “highly prospective” VMS exploration opportunity in British Columbia.
“This program represents an important milestone for Copper One as we continue building a diversified portfolio of copper-focused exploration assets in top-tier mining jurisdictions,” the CEO says.
Redhill hosts VMS mineralisation and comprises 18 mineral claims totalling 4,736.38 hectares, representing a large contiguous land package.
Copper One Resources is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing late-stage copper, silver, and gold projects.
