Copper One flags ticker code change

Copper One Resources (CSE:BFG) will be changing its ticker code on the Canadian Securities Exchange to CEXY early next week (19 May), amid changing the company name from Giant Mining.

As previously reported, Copper One changed its name to better align with its strategic repositioning to enhance visibility within the copper sector.

The company’s OTC symbol (BFGFF) and Frankfurt Stock Exchange symbol (YW5) remain unchanged.

Earlier this week, Copper One announced its intention to raise C$2.5 million ($2.52 million) via a non-brokered private placement.

The funds will be used to explore and drill within the Majuba Hill Project, as well as make property payments for the Redhill Project.

In April 2026, Copper One entered into an option agreement to acquire the Redhill Project in British Columbia, Canada. Redhill hosts volcanogenic massive sulphide mineralisation.

The capital raise is expected to close on or around 30 May 2026, subject to certain conditions including receiving necessary approvals.

Copper One Resources is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing late-stage copper, silver, and gold projects.
