Cavalier Resources begins metallurgical studies on Crawford Gold Project in WA

Cavalier Resources (ASX:CVR) announces that experts, Kappes, Cassiday, and Associates Australia (KCAA) have been engaged to begin metallurgical studies on its Crawford Gold Project, located in Western Australia.

This comes forth after internal high-level studies indicating the potential for the oxide portion of the Crawford Gold resource to be extracted and processed via heap leach processing.

Additionally, a head of agreement has been signed by Blue Cap Mining (BCM) to assist Cavalier with heap leach mining studies, as well as providing contract equipment for any potential test pits, with a scope of services and fees to be agreed upon from time to time on an ‘as needed’ basis.

Cavalier Resources Executive Technical Director, Daniel Tuffin, says: “Given this situation, Cavalier has embarked on investigating the potential to mine and mill Crawford as an owner-operated heap leach operation.
