BurnVoir to support Evion in Mainry’s development

Evion Group (ASX:EVG) has appointed corporate advisory firm BurnVoir Corporate Finance to advise the company in developing its Maniry Graphite Project in Madagascar.

BurnVoir will lead coordinating funding deals required to advance Maniry, as well as support upgrading the BAM plant Scoping Study and review other opportunities to expand Evion’s operations in India and other jurisdictions.

This news comes after Evion engaged with a range of corporate advisory groups to develop and execute funding plans. As Mining.com.au reported, the company is also in discussions with large global electric vehicle producers and battery manufacturers, with the aim to enter into potential supply agreements for Maniry.

Managing Director David Round says this appointment reflects its commitment to secure a robust, flexible funding package.

“I’ve been impressed with the work they have done over recent years in assisting some of our peers to grow their market capitalisation to well in excess of $150 million, and their proven expertise in structuring finance for graphite and battery metal projects will be instrumental as we advance Maniry into development,” Round says.

With over 20 years of experience, BurnVoir has provided independent financial, commercial, and strategic advice to a range of resources and energy projects.

Recently, the firm played a critical role in developing and growing numerous Australian companies with interests in the graphite mining and downstream processing sectors.

The Maniry Project is located in southern Madagascar – which is the largest producer and exporter of natural graphite outside China.
