Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) has cashed in on December 2023 gold production after recording 6,708 ounces produced from its wholly owned Jaurdi Gold Project in Western Australia.
The $97.67 million market capitalisation company says almost the entire amount of the gold produced during the December quarter (6,389 ounces) has been sold at an average price of $3,039/oz, netting $19.41 million for the company.
The company notes 848 ounces of gold is currently in transit.
Beacon reports up to 196,583 dry tonnes were milled during the quarter, with the mill demonstrating a recovery of 92.56%.
Production at the Jaurdi mill was lower than previous quarters due to a planned major shutdown for SAG mill reline and high viscosities associated with Panel 3 clay ore.
Meanwhile, mining started at the MacPhersons Reward Project during the quarter. Further, cars and maintenance works were commissioned at the Geko Project to remedy unsatisfactory environmental issues inherited by Beacon.
Beacon Minerals is an ASX-listed gold miner and explorer focused on exploring, discovering, and pursuing opportunities on its path to becoming a long-term, sustainable, and profitable mineral producer.
The company’s Jaurdi Project comprises 3 mining centres at Lost Dog, Panther, and Black Cat, along with the Jaurdi Gold Processing Plant.
