Battery Age Minerals charges ahead with exploration work at Falcon Lake Lithium Project, Canada

Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) has begun its summer fieldwork program at the Falcon Lake Lithium Project in Canada.

The $28.86 million market capitalisation company is carrying out fieldwork activities to further enhance its understanding of the geology and exploration potential of the Falcon Lake Project.

Battery Age says these activities will include prospecting and geochemical sampling, LiDAR and ortho imagery, and ground magnetic survey work.

Battery Age says the purpose of the program is to generate additional targets for drilling and to rank them in order of priority for future works.

The data collected from these activities will play a role in uncovering other potential exploration targets and help the company to prioritise them for drilling campaigns.

In addition, Battery Age Minerals has already initiated mechanism stripping on areas identified as holding high exploration potential.

A previously unmapped pegmatite is being further stripped to define its scale and structural orientation so it can be drilled as part of the company’s ongoing maiden program.

Further, the company’s geologist team has already mapped 12 additional spodumene-bearing pegmatites on the western half of the property during a short field mapping program, which has armed the exploration team with multiple prospective drill targets.

The company is intending to completely explore the project area during this summer and focus on the 2.5km eastern half of the property which has ‘significant’ exploration potential.

Commenting on the summer field program, Battery Age Minerals Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gerard O’Donovan says: “This is a great start to our summer fieldwork campaign. To uncover additional pegmatites at the first of our stripping targets gives us great confidence in the prospectivity of Falcon Lake.

“To uncover additional pegmatites at the first of our stripping targets gives us great confidence in the prospectivity of Falcon Lake”

We look forward to deploying more targeted techniques to identify and prioritise additional targets so that we can continue drilling and unlocking the value of this asset.”

Battery Age Minerals is an ASX-listed battery mineral company focused on rapidly growing its Falcon Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada.

As of 31 March 2023, the company had $4.528 million cash at hand, according to its latest quarterly report published on 27 April 2023.
