Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) has announced the start of geophysical and surface geochemistry surveys at the El Aguila Gold-Silver Project in Argentina.
These field programs are composed of detailed ground magnetic surveys and gradient induced polarisation (IP) surveys that are supported by systematic soil sampling.
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is now complete through numerous biology and archaeology field surveys. These surveys kicked off in March 2025, as reported by Mining.com.au, with the company expecting to submit the EIA by the end of this quarter.
Battery Age says the historical exploration resulted in large frequencies of “high-grade” gold and silver. Drilling intercepts returned up to 174.58 grams per tonne gold and 4,739 grams per tonne silver across the project’s 9,124 hectares.
CEO Nigel Broomham says the progression towards geophysical and geochemical programs will allow the company to lodge its maiden drilling application by quarter end.
