Ballymore identifies multiple drill targets at Ruddygore

Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) has completed an expanded high-resolution ground gravity survey at its Ruddygore Project, identifying multiple high-priority drill targets across the historic Chillagoe Mining District in North Queensland.

The gravity survey, along with a geophysics survey at the company’s Dittmer Project, is supported by $383,000 in Queensland Government Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) funding.

Ballymore completed 1,948 gravity stations, significantly expanding from the originally planned 618 stations after preliminary results “exceeded expectations”.

The survey commenced in May with a regional 500m-spaced grid and detailed coverage over key prospects including Torpy’s, MAN03, Eleventh, and Armada East.

“Strong” preliminary results prompted Ballymore to immediately expand the program, adding further detailed coverage at Torpy’s—Little Torpy’s, Armada East, and Maniopota.

Managing Director David A-Izzeddin says these preliminary results reinforce Ruddygore’s potential to host multiple “significant” mineral systems beyond the Topy’s discovery.

“While Torpy’s continues to deliver encouraging results, the gravity survey suggests that it represents part of a larger mineralised corridor,” A-Izzeddin says.

“We have also identified several new gravity anomalies, many coinciding with historic mines and workings and supportive geochemical, magnetic, electromagnetic signatures, significantly expanding our pipeline of high-priority drill targets.”

The Ruddygore Project covers 556km² adjacent to Chillagoe and hosts numerous historic copper, gold, silver, lead, and zinc mines.

Ballymore says final data and models are expected shortly and will be integrated with existing datasets to rank and prioritise drill targets for future testing.

It also expects assay results from its current drilling campaign at Torpy’s, final results from the gravity survey, and generation of new drill targets across the broader project area over the coming months.

Ballymore Resources is a mineral explorer focused on identifying and developing gold, copper, silver, and critical mineral deposits across underexplored mineral belts in Queensland.
