Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) reports further ‘high-grade’ silver-lead-zinc results from its Torpy’s discovery within the Ruddygore Project in North Queensland, with drilling extending mineralisation 40m up‑dip from previous intersections.
Latest results include 2m @ 580.4 grams per tonne silver (Ag), 25.88% lead (Pb), 10.08% zinc (Zn), and 8.7g/t indium (In) from hole BTPRC013, confirming shallow, ‘high-grade’ mineralisation at the project near Chillagoe.
BTPRC013 returned 7m @ 170g/t Ag, 7.6% Pb, 3.27% Zn, and 2.9g/t In from 44m, including 3m @ 391.1g/t Ag, 17.45% Pb, 7.43% Zn, and 6.7g/t In from 45m.
Hole BTPRC012 intersected 4m @ 130.9g/t Ag, 4.78% Pb, 0.64% Zn, and 1.4g/t In from 54m, including 2m @ 247.8g/t Ag, 9.16% Pb, 0.97% Zn, and 1.6g/t In from 54m.
Managing Director David A‑Izzeddin says the results support the company’s emerging ‘high‑grade’ shoot model developed along major fault structures.
“These latest results are another important step forward for Torpy’s, with BTPRC013 delivering an exceptionally high-grade intersection 40m up-dip of our previous drilling,” A‑Izzeddin explains.
“The combination of shallow mineralisation, strong grades, and multiple additional targets gives us confidence that Torpy’s has considerable potential to grow.”
The company completed 22 drill holes for 2,609m during its June drilling program, with assay results pending for several holes that encountered visual estimates of galena and sphalerite mineralisation.
The Torpy’s Crooked Creek mine operated intermittently between 1904 and 1914. The mine produced approximately 6,000 tonnes of ore, yielding around 84,000 ounces of silver and 920 tonnes of lead from 1912 to 1914, equating to average grades of approximately 435g/t silver and 15.3% lead.
Ballymore’s maiden drilling campaign in late 2025 established ‘high‑grade’ polymetallic mineralisation at Torpy’s, including 23m @ 215.6g/t Ag and 8.55% Pb from 130m in hole BTPRC005.
The company plans to commence a detailed drone magnetic survey in September to identify additional drill targets across the greater Torpy’s district.
