Austin Engineering (ASX:ANG) has appointed Sarah Wilson as Company Secretary, effective yesterday (7 May).
An experienced company secretary with 10 years of corporate advisory and corporate governance role experience, Wilson’s appointment follows the resignation of Katina Nadebaum.
Nadebaum has served as Austin’s Company Secretary for four years and is stepping down to focus on other company secretarial commitments.
The company has been in a transition period for the company’s new CEO and Managing Director Sybrandt Van Dyk. As reported by Mining.com.au on 23 July 2024, Van Dyk will replace current CEO and Managing Director David Singleton, who will remain on the board as a non-executive director once retiring from the role on 30 June 2025.
Van Dyk has over 25 years of finance experience in the resources sector.
On 1 May Van Dyk stepped down from his role as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, as well as vacating his position with the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and the Safety Committee, before formally commencing as CEO and Managing Director on 1 July 2025.
Non-executive director Chris Indermaur has been appointed as the new Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Austin Engineering partners with mining companies, contractors and original equipment manufacturers to design dump truck bodies, buckets, water tanks, tyre handlers and other ancillary products.
