Auravelle Metals (ASX:AUV) has extended its Sheoak gold trend to 3.5km and commenced metallurgical testwork on key mineralised intervals.
Gold anomalism has been identified in drilling over at least 3.5km in strike, traversing at least three separate prospects following a review of drilling to date.
The anomalism stretches from Sheoak to Sheoak North to Myall and remains open to the north and south and at depth.
This trend has had very limited testing at depth by reverse circulation drilling outside of Sheoak and is a key target for upcoming drilling programs.
Managing Director Andrew Muir says the close integration of recent drilling with historical aircore data has revealed ‘significant potential’.
The company has commenced preliminary gold recovery testwork on key mineralised intervals within the Sheoak prospect using bottle roll leaching analysis.
The analysis is expected to take approximately four to six weeks, with results expected in late June or early July.
Muir notes that the metallurgical testwork represents the first step in the de-risking process, while the company continues its exploration program across multiple South Australian projects.
Upcoming activities include infill and extensional reverse circulation drilling at Sheoak and other prospects at Nuckulla Hill, discovery-focused aircore drilling at Nuckulla Hill, and soil sampling at the Crown Gold Project in Western Australia.
Auravelle Metals is an Australian-based exploration company focused on its recent gold discoveries at Nuckulla Hill in the Gawler Craton and the Crown Project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
