Apex Critical Metals (CSE:APXC) reports rare earth oxide (REO) mineralisation from step-out drilling at its Rift Rare Earth Project in Nebraska, US.
Hole RIFT26-019 returned 2.12% REO over 197.5m, including ‘higher-grade’ intervals of 4.6% REO over 5.1m and 3.15% REO over 12.9m at the Trinity zone within the Elk Creek carbonatite complex.
The intercept extends Trinity zone mineralisation approximately 120m further downdip to the west, with the zone now defined over 300m.
“The results from western stepout drill hole RIFT26-019 confirms the western plunge of the upper Trinity zone and demonstrates continuity of the high-grade REO mineralization with one of the strongest grade-times-width intervals to date,” CEO Sean Charland says.
Three southern drill holes demonstrate a further 100m of mineralised north-south strike length: RIFT26-016 returned 1.74% REO over 46.1m, RIFT26-017 1.38% REO over 77.3m, and RIFT26-018 2% REO over 33.7m.
The Trinity zone now spans approximately 500m of north-south strike length and 300m downdip, remaining open in all directions.
The company has completed 34 drill holes totalling approximately 22,000m, with assays pending for 15 holes. An inaugural mineral resource estimate is targeted for Q1 2027.
Apex Critical Metals is a Canadian explorer advancing a portfolio of rare earth and niobium projects across North America, including the Cap Project in British Columbia.
