Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) is further advancing development as part of the group’s strategy to build additional scale at the Minyari Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia, after receiving new assay results from a drilling program.
Upon receiving all assays from the 2025 drilling program, an updated resource estimate is expected to be completed in the next month.
Furthermore, the group is undertaking a Prefeasibility Study (PFS) as well as non-technical workstreams, refining the development opportunity at Minyari Dome, including progressing the permitting process.
As reported by Mining.com.au, the PFS is scheduled for completion in June 2026.
Some of the latest results returned from the drilling program include 12m @ 16.7 grams per tonne gold and 0.13% copper from 143m, including 1m @ 176.5g/t gold and 1% copper from 150m; and 18m @ 2.7g/t gold and 0.49% copper from 275m.
Resource definition drilling at Minyari confirms continuity of substantial gold-copper zones, while broad-spaced aircore drilling also confirms gold-copper anomalies with a combined strike extending over 6km.
Managing Director Roger Mason says this year’s program is delivering exactly what it was designed to achieve.
“Today’s results serve to further highlight Minyari as a high-quality gold-copper system of scale,” Mason says.
“The exceptional grades intersected at the Minyari deposit, together with the hits at WACA and GEO-01, provide a strong foundation for the upcoming mineral resource update and the PFS.
“With phase two drilling in progress, and more phase one results to come, we look forward to reporting more success in the months ahead.”
Phase one included 307 holes for 35,948m of drilling, with 33,524m of assays received to date. The PFS and resource definition drilling is well advanced, with 17,516m of the planned 20,000m now complete.
Phase two discovery-focused drilling is ongoing, with 25,000 to 35,000m scheduled to be completed.
