American Tungsten signs with Global Tungsten & Powders

American Tungsten (CSE:TUNG) has advanced rehabilitation work at its IMA Mine in Idaho with 115 feet of tunnel now restored and signed a letter of intent with Global Tungsten & Powders for a potential US-based offtake agreement.

CEO Ali Haji describes the agreement with Global Tungsten & Powders as a testament to the company’s emergence as a leading supplier of domestic tungsten.

“This letter of intent not only affirms robust market demand but also reflects the deep confidence our partners place in our technical capabilities and long-term vision,” Haji says.

“With this partnership in place, American Tungsten remains firmly on track for near-term production and a full-scale restart of the IMA Mine — delivering on our promise to build a resilient, future-ready supply chain for this critical mineral.”

After rehabilitating the Zero Level access tunnel to a total of 115 feet from the portal entrance, the company is now shifting efforts towards the main collapsed zone, which is believed to span 50 feet.

“With anticipated work on the zero level tunnel approximately 80% complete, we are rapidly advancing toward a secure, modern, and highly efficient underground mining operation,” Haji adds.

Management recently conducted a visit at the site to review Zero Level rehab work, the D Level underground workings, the historic tailings area across the road from the canyon, and the broader site area.

An inspector approved the site as a “safe working environment”, expressing confidence in the progress and quality of the work.

American Tungsten is a Canadian exploration company focused on advancing high-grade magnetite mineral properties. Its flagship asset, the IMA Mine Project in Idaho, is a past-producing tungsten property with significant historical output.
