Winsome Resources (ASX:WR1) has started a high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric survey over the wholly owned Adina Project in Quebec, Canada.
The $232.69 million market capitalisation company says this is in conjunction with resource drilling at the project, which restarted 10 days ago.
High-resolution magnetic data from the survey will be used to interpret the subsurface geology and structures in greater detail.
Enhanced detail is expected to support building up the geological model for the project, including the presence of faults that may offset mineralisation, alongside providing detail on the link between the Adina main zone, where the majority of drilling activities have been completed.
In addition, radiometric data will be collected in the survey, as Winsome expects more pegmatite targets across Adina will be identified from the data.
The company notes this will be useful for the recently acquired Jackpot property, where initial fieldwork will start shortly.
Prospectair Geosurveys will be conducting the survey using a Eurocopter EC120 helicopter. Data will be collected on 50m line spacing with tie lines flown at 500m intervals.
