Wildcat Resources leaps into fieldwork at Tabba Tabba Project, WA

Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) is currently conducting fieldwork ahead of maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling, beginning in early July 2023, at the Tabba Tabba Project in Western Australia.

The company has completed a high-resolution drone survey at the Tabba Tabba pegmatite field and will now work to process the drone data and digitise outcropping pegmatite occurrences, as well as issue a drilling contract for the drill program. Wildcat will also work to finalise drilling plans and conduct follow-up field mapping.

The survey data will support the preparation of the upcoming drill program and provide better definitions of the outcropping pegmatite swarms.

Meanwhile, Wildcat says it has received drill tenders, with an initial contract to be issued this week.

This news comes after Wildcat recently entered into an exclusive, binding, and conditional agreement to acquire 100% of the Tabba Tabba Project, which contains a group of granted mining leases with ‘large’ areas of outcropping pegmatites and a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 318,000 tonnes @ 950 parts per million (ppm) tantalum oxide (Ta2O5).

Tabba Tabba is located 80km by road from Port Hedland, Western Australia. The project is the only asset from this group of Wildcat projects that has not been explored for lithium.

Wildcat Resources is an ASX-listed company focusing on the discovery of ‘world-class’ provinces across Australia. The company’s portfolio of assets includes the Mt Adrah, Bolt Cutter, and Fraser Range projects.
