Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) has received assay results from its 2025 drill programme and is initiating its 2026 exploration program at the Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The assay results from the 2025 drilling campaign showed lithium mineralisation over more than 2km in a north-west orientation and up to 800m in a north-east orientation. The scale of this mineralisation highlights the potential for a large mineralised system with multiple stacked dykes of pegmatite which remain open in most directions.
Highlights from the results include 20.0m @ 1.70% lithium oxide from 43.0m, 12.8m @ 2.02% lithium oxide from 45.3m, 12m @ 1.65% lithium oxide from 90m, and 12.0m @ 1.30% lithium oxide from 39.0m.
The company will commence diamond drilling in January 2026, with the aim to further expand the scale of the discovery at depth and to facilitate phase one metallurgical testwork.
A reverse circulation drilling program is also planned to commence in late Q1, with multiple targets pinpointed to help extend the mineralisation and conduct infill drilling.
The results will help the company advance the project toward a maiden mineral resource estimate.
Wildcat Resources is focused on both lithium and gold projects across Western Australia and New South Wales.
