White Cliff’s Danvers 1 grows 480%

White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) has intersected copper mineralisation over 4.75km of strike along the Teshierpi structural corridor at its Rae Copper Project in Canada, expanding the Danvers 1 system from 820m.

Results from current drilling 17m @ 1.41% copper (Cu) and 12 grams per tonne silver (Ag) from 194m; 14.5m @ 1.49% Cu from 166.5m, including 3m @ 3.96% Cu; and 18g/t Ag from 169m.

Another drill hole collared over 2.5km northeast of the core Danvers 1 area also yielded 24.75m @ 0.43% Cu from 110.5m, including 5m @ 1.21% Cu.

Managing Director Troy Whittaker says the latest assays have ‘transformed’ the scale of Danvers 1.

“In a single season, drilling has expanded the copper-bearing trend from 820m to 4.75km, with strong grades returned in step-outs progressively farther northeast,” Whittaker says.

[The]results … demonstrate that high-grade copper is not confined to the original Danvers 1 core.”

According to White Cliff, the results have prompted the fast tracking of infill drilling, which is scheduled to commence within the coming weeks to establish geometry and continuity ahead of evaluating a JORC exploration target.

Meanwhile, assays remain pending for hole DAN26041, where more than 40m of copper-sulphide bearing core was observed.

Danvers 1 sits on a splay of the regional Teshierpi Fault within a magnetic low. Previous metallurgical testwork demonstrated copper recoveries exceeding 95% and silver recoveries above 93% via conventional processing.

White Cliff holds 100% ownership of the project covering 1,228km² in Nunavut, Canada, subject to a 1% net smelter return royalty.

White Cliff Minerals is a mineral explorer focused on discovering and advancing district-scale copper and energy metal projects.
