White Cliff Minerals completes maiden drilling at Hines Hill REE Project in Western Australia

ASX-listed mineral exploration company White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) reports it has successfully completed a maiden aircore (AC) drilling campaign at its 100% owned Hines Hill Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in Western Australia.

The maiden drilling campaign consisted of 49 AC drillholes that ranged in depth from 8m to 92m and were undertaken over one of 2 magnetic features, which were identified by the company during a previous sampling program.

The company notes it has also completed a geochemical sampling program over the remainder of the highlighted magnetic features.

Further roadside conventional geochemical sampling has also been completed, with 231 samples being gathered on a nominal 200m spacing.

Speaking on the completed drilling campaign, White Cliff Minerals’ Technical Director, Ed Mead says: “It is great to get drilling at Hines Hill, as this is how you find orebodies, and we also took the opportunity to expand the geochemical sampling program at Hines Hill and over the new North Kellerberrin REE project at the same time, and now look forward to the return of assay results.

“It is great to get drilling at Hines Hill, as this is how you find orebodies, and we also took the opportunity to expand the geochemical sampling program at Hines Hill and over the new North Kellerberrin REE project at the same time…”

The Yinnetharra high resolution magnetic and radiometric survey is progressing well and we hope to be back on the ground at Yinnetharra in early December.”

White Cliff Minerals also reports it has undertaken a maiden geochemical sampling program across its North Kellerberrin REE Project, which adjoins the Hines Hill project to the west.

In addition, a total of 716 (3m composite) samples and 1,044 geochemical soil samples have been gathered from the exploration campaigns and have been registered at the ALS Global Laboratory.

White Cliff Minerals is a mineral exploration company that is currently focused on exploring its highly prospective REE and lithium (Li2O) project portfolio across WA. The company’s Hines Hill project is located within WA’s Wheatbelt region about 200km east of the state’s capital city of Perth, along the Great Eastern Highway. The project comprises a single tenement that covers a total land area of 128km-square, which includes ‘extensive’ grain growing properties.

With exploration activities at Hines Hill now complete, White Cliff Minerals announces it looks forward to receiving assays from both its Hines Hill tenement and its new North Kellerberrin tenement.
