Warriedar Resources (ASX:WA8) has uncovered ‘high-priority’ drill targets following the completion of ground electromagnetic (EM) surveying at the Golden Range and Fields Find Projects in Western Australia.
The company says surveying completed to date, which consisted of 25 fixed-loop EM (FLEM) receiver lines over 14 high-priority airborne EM anomalies, has identified 7 confined bedrock conductors that are consistent with accumulations of massive sulphides.
Warriedar reports 4 of these conductors sit within the mafic to ultramafic layered igneous complex proximal to ‘significant’ historical nickel and copper intersections, as well as the historical Warriedar copper mine, which sits along strike.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that preliminary modelling results are ‘excellent’ and bode well for the targeted drilling of the conductors.

The company notes this second program was carried out by GAP Geophysics under the direction of Newexco Exploration, which represents an industry expert in EM survey planning and data modelling.
Airborne electromagnetic (AEM) was undertaken over select blocks in the Golden Range and Fields Finds projects during February and March 2023 and complemented a 2014 AEM survey flown by Minjar Gold in June of that year.
About 100 anomalies are reported to have been identified from the 2023 NRGA2304 AEM survey data, in addition to the 50 anomalies believed to have been identified 2014 AA140156 AEM survey data.
With these ‘high-priority’ drill targets now identified, Warriedar Resources announces these 7 conductors are set to be drill tested in H2 2023 and will represent the first direct targeting of high conductance, discrete, massive sulphide accumulations within the Fields Find Project area.
The company also notes ground EM surveying over AEM targets is to continue through H2 2023 in order to build a further pipeline of drill-ready base metal targets.

Warriedar Resources is an ASX-listed gold and copper explorer with an existing resource base of almost 2 million ounces of gold (149,000oz measured, 867,000oz indicated, and 944,000oz inferred) across Western Australia and Nevada in the US.
The company’s Golden Range and Fields Find projects are located in the middle of the ‘highly active’ Murchison exploration and mining province, which hosts ‘substantial’ deposits of both gold and base metals.
Warriedar had $8.5 million cash on hand and zero debt at the end of 31 March 2023, as stated in its latest quarterly report released on 21 April 2023.
