Gold and copper explorer Warriedar Resources (ASX:WA8) has begun a 1,900m diamond drilling program at the Ricciardo deposit of its Golden Range Project in Western Australia.
The program will target extensions to high-grade shoots in a bid to grow the overall mineralisation envelope and enhance the company’s understanding of structural controls.
Warriedar, which has a market capitalisation of $32.46 million, says the program represents the first diamond drilling conducted at the 2.3km-long Ricciardo deposit by any operator since 2014.
A phase-two reverse circulation drilling program, totalling 5,800m, is also underway at Ricciardo and the M1 deposit.
So far, this work has outlined extensions at Ricciardo and delineated further mineralisation outside the current mineral resource, with mineralisation remaining open at depth.
Warriedar Resources will be presenting at the upcoming Vertical Events 2024 Gold Coast Investment Showcase, being held on 19 and 20 June at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa in Queensland.
