Vertex announces rising gold production

Vertex Minerals (ASX:VTX) has announced a rise in gold production at the Reward Gold Mine in the Lachlan Ford Belt of New South Wales, underpinned by the increase in underground stoping ore and higher grades.

Further increases in grade are expected for the gold gravity mill moving forward.

Highlighting other operational milestones from 2025, Vertex notes that its new remote loader has successfully loaded ore from the 1438 north stope via remote control.

As reported by Mining.com.au earlier this month, the company connected the remote control unit to the loader to enable long hole stoping methods. First stoping ore was delivered from the Reward Gold Mine in December.

Other key highlights include the ore grade material coming from the 1600 on the Star of Peace vein development face.

Gold sales from the last quarter to date are at $656,708, with two additional deliveries of gravity concentrate scheduled for refining before the end of 2025.

The company has established multiple mining areas and development levels for underground mining production and now has all five mining areas actively in ore development or stoping.

Vertex is a gold explorer focused on delivering the Reward underground gold mine.
