Verity defines new intrusive gold target at Monument

Verity Resources (ASX:VRL) has identified a new intrusion-related gold target at its Monument Gold Project following soil sampling across the recently granted Gum Well tenement.

First-pass soil sampling at Gum Well has defined a coherent gold-in-soil anomaly over approximately 1.1km of strike, with results up to 64 parts per billion gold (Au). The anomaly remains open to the north and south and is spatially coincident with a discrete magnetic feature interpreted as a high-level intrusive.

Director Patrick Volpe says the Gum Well result represents an entirely new mineralisation style at Monument and opens an exciting exploration front on the project.

“The convergence of three independent datasets — a geophysical intrusive signature, copper-tellurium pathfinder rock chips, and a 1.1km coherent gold-in-soil anomaly up to 64ppb Au — already defines a compelling, walk-up drill target,” Volpe says.

“Critically, the setting is directly analogous to Genesis Minerals’ intrusive-hosted Jupiter (~1.5Moz Au) and Cameron Well (~0.25Moz Au) deposits in the same district, which demonstrates the scale of target we are chasing.”

The Gum Well tenement (E39/2558) was granted in January 2026 and covers 210km² of previously unpegged and largely unexplored ground. Previous rock chip sampling returned significant pathfinder anomalies of 779ppm copper and 1.2ppm tellurium from an outcropping interpreted intrusive body.

Verity also completed infill soil sampling at McKenzie Granite and McKenzie Well, with results consistently higher than historic sampling. McKenzie Granite returned a maximum gold-in-soil value of 21ppb Au from the interpreted northern contact with greenstone stratigraphy.

McKenzie Well results returned gold anomalism greater than 5ppb Au across the eastern portion of the granite contact over 2.2km strike. The prospect sits approximately 400m west of Genesis Minerals’ (ASX:GMD) adjoining McKenzie Well deposit, containing 0.95 million tonnes (Mt) @ 1.10g/t Au for 34,000 ounces in the Inferred category.

Soil sampling within the interpreted Korong Syenite prospect returned the campaign’s highest individual result of 264ppb Au, adjacent to the existing 137koz Korong resource. Star Well returned values up to 44ppb Au, along trend from previously reported high-grade surface rock chips up to 6.17g/t Au.

Volpe says the advancing results continue to build the drill target pipeline across the Monument Gold Project.

“With approximately 60 targets identified across the Monument Gold Project and each campaign systematically de-risking the most prospective corridors, we are building a discovery pipeline commensurate with our address in one of Australia’s premier gold districts,” Volpe says.

The Monument Gold Project comprises approximately 405km² of tenure located 40km west of Laverton, adjacent to Genesis Minerals’ Mt Morgan Project, which hosts 3.3 million ounces of gold. The company holds an Indicated and Inferred mineral resource estimate of 2.5Mt @ 1.72g/t Au for 137,700 ounces at the Korong and Waihi deposits.

Verity plans detailed mapping and infill soil sampling at Gum Well ahead of drilling. Further work is also planned at McKenzie Well and McKenzie Granite.
