Venus Metals Corporation (ASX:VMC) has identified various potential options for treating the ore from the Bellchambers deposit in Western Australia, which will be investigated as part of an upcoming Prefeasibility Study (PFS).
The PFS is currently being prepared, followed by a Feasibility Study for the Bellchambers Project, is targeted for completion between Q3 and Q4 FY2026.
The ore treating options include a mine gate sale agreement with Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) or trucking the ore to other processing plants.
Earthmoving mining quotes and various potential joint venture opportunities are being considered and assessed.
Further drilling at depth at the Bellchambers and Rangeview deposits will be conducted during Q1 and Q2 FY2026. The drilling aims to expand the current resource, as well as target regional exploration.
In addition to preparing for a PFS, Venus Metals has reviewed the Bellchambers Project’s resource estimate, with reasonable prospect of eventual economic extraction factors being applied.
The total measured, indicated, and inferred resources total 437,000 tonnes @ 1.36 grams per tonne gold for 19,130 ounces.
Venus Metals says the reviewed result provides the company with confidence to move forward with the potential development of the Bellchambers and Rangeview deposits.
Following granting of a mining lease at Bellchambers, Venus Metals has appointed numerous key consultants to support the company in preparing and submitting a mining development and closure proposal. The proposal will encompass flora and fauna surveys, surface and groundwater hydrology, and waste characterisation work, which will lead to a final investment decision.
The Bellchambers Gold Project is part of the broader Sandstone Project in Western Australia. The Bellchambers mining area is located 70km by road northeast from the Youanmi Gold Project and about 23km southwest of the town of Sandstone.
