Venari share price sees major jump on ASX

Venari Minerals’ (ASX:VMS) share price has jumped 54.32% on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), trading at $0.125 per share today (10 September).

The price jump follows the company’s presentation at the Resources Rising Stars Investor Conference yesterday at 3:50pm AEST.

CEO Matthew Healy presented on behalf of Venari, providing an update on the company’s ongoing activities and outlook.

Resources Rising Stars was held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort in the Gold Coast, Queensland, from 9–10 September.

In the presentation, Venari describes itself as focused on “securing America’s battery and defence supply chains” through its work at the Red Mountain Lithium Project in Nevada.

As reported by Mining.com.au earlier this month, Venari moved its exploration plan of operations (EPO) for Red Mountain into public notice to increase the initial drilling disturbance allowance from five to 35 acres.

The EPO is being assessed under expedited National Environmental Policy Act (US) provisions. The company expects to receive approval by the end of 2026.

Venari is currently progressing a 12-hole drilling campaign at the project, covering 3,360m with diamond drilling.

The company has confirmed that the first two holes are completed and have been sent for core cutting, density measurements, sampling, and laboratory testing.

Although Venari is trading higher, the S&P/ASX 200 is lower today, losing 137.2 points. The materials sector has dropped 2.43% today, with nine other sectors also performing lower.
