Toubani Resources (ASX:TRE) has received a credit approved term sheet for a US$73.3 million ($104.73 million) senior structured project finance facility (debt facility) and US$10.2 million mezzanine facility from Coris Bank International SA.
The company is now finalising the definitive documentation for both the debt and mezzanine facilities.
The debt facility and mezzanine facility will be used to replace 50% of the Eagle Eye Asset Gold Stream that was previously reported in October 2025.
Toubani reports that its approximately US$164 million non-equity funding will comprise these two new facilities from Coris Bank as well as US$80 million for the 5.55% Eagle Eye Asset Gold Stream.
Managing Director Phil Russo says that the commitment from both Eagle Eye Assets and Coris Bank underscores the strong support for financing Toubani’s Kobada Gold Project.
“We look forward to working closely with our financing partners to finalise the facilities, with documentation already in progress, and to sustaining strong momentum at Kobada,” Russo says.
“We remain focused on positioning the project for a successful development phase, supported by Kobada’s technical simplicity and its standing as one of the lowest-cost gold projects in the region.”
Toubani continues to advance the Kobada Gold project, having just achieved key milestones in engineering, financing, and permitting work streams as they de-risk the project ahead of a final investment decision.
Toubani Resources is an exploration and development company, focused on advancing the Kobada Gold Project in Mali.
