Toubani Resources Kobada Gold Project in Mali

Toubani delivers ‘high-grade’ gold from Kobada infill

Toubani Resources (ASX:TRE) has reported ‘high-grade’ gold results from pre-production infill drilling at its Kobada Gold Project in Mali.

The latest reverse circulation drilling program returned significant intercepts, including 72m @ 2.27 grams per tonne gold from 92m and 53m @ 3.67g/t gold from 87m to the end of hole.

Other notable results include 20m @ 4.58g/t gold from 198m, containing 1m @ 64.6g/t gold, and 61m @ 1.80g/t gold from 183m, including 7m @ 6.61g/t gold. The drilling aims to provide additional data for the northern area of the mineral resource estimate (MRE) ahead of an update scheduled to commence in Q3 2026.

The updated MRE will be used to finalise the near-term mining schedule for the commencement of mining activities in early 2027.

This latest set of infill results successfully validates the high-grade zones within the Kobada mineralisation, offering great encouragement for our upcoming MRE update as we prepare for mining operations, Managing Director Phil Russo says.

This drilling demonstrates the high calibre of the Kobada Gold Project, and we anticipate that the remaining assays will continue to support this view.

The company has received assays from 26 of 47 holes drilled in the northern portion of the Kobada MRE. Additional significant intersections include 31m @ 3.12g/t gold from 187m, 1m @ 86.5g/t gold from 17m, and 62m @ 1.52g/t gold from 139m.

Drilling at Kobada South has returned results from a further 39 reverse circulation drillholes with significant intersections, including 4m @ 3.71g/t gold from 124m, containing 1m @ 12.8g/t gold, and 1m @ 79.2g/t gold from 113m.

The Kobada Gold Project hosts 2.2 million ounces in mineral resources over a 4.5km strike length and is predominantly oxide and open-pittable.

Toubani Resources is an advanced gold developer focused on bringing its oxide-dominant Kobada Gold Project in Mali into production, with a completed Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) and a fully funded pathway to construction.
